This weeks church news

Morning worship on Sunday 2nd October takes place at 10:45am at Bellshill Central Church, 346 Main Street. Our minister, Rev Kevin de Beer, will lead worship.
The morning service is our harvest thanksgiving. We praise and thank god for his bounty and care. Kevin’s theme for the service is Fed by Gods grace and presence, with readings from 1 Kings 19:1-18 and Mark 6:30-44. Hymns include harvest favourites We plough the fields and For the beauty of the earth.
Activities for children and young adults are available in our Young Church groups that meets during the service. All are warmly welcome to our service of worship. We’re a warm and welcoming church family at the heart of Bellshill. We would love to see you join us.
Our harvest lunch takes place after the service, and tickets are available now from the church or reserve them online.
THE BIG SING IS HERE! This Sunday, 2nd October at 7pm. Bellshill Central Parish Church proudly hosts our next BIG SING raising funds for St Andrew’s Hospice, Airdrie. A very well deserving local charity. Organist and Choirmaster, Alan Mathew, hopes that this BIG SING will attract even more people than the last one, which helped raise £600 for Maggies. All singers are invited, all local churches are invited, our whole local and wider community is invited. We need your help to make it great. The famous Best Bellshill Cuppa and treats will be served in the hall afterwards.
Saturday 1st October we celebrate with Sharon and Grant as they begin married life with their marriage ceremony which takes place in the church.
Our church guild resumes Monday 3rd October at 7:30pm with a visit to Burnhead Church, Uddingston. This will be a joint night with our link branch and a service of communion. All ladies and gents are welcome to come along. Full event details for the year are available online.
